St John's withstands Cardinals, 1-0, to win WCAC soccer title

Bishop Ireton dominated the final half of the 2011 WCAC soccer championship except on the scoreboard as St Johns survived with a 1-0 win.

Cardinals Upend Undefeated, #1 ranked Good Counsel, 2-0, head to finals Sunday!

Bishop Ireton advances to the WCAC championship against St Johns Sunday at 6pm at the Maryland SoccerPlex behind 2 goals from Katrina Guillou Thursday night in Olney, Maryland. It is their first trip to the finals since 2005 when they also played St Johns.

Cardinals advance to girls soccer rematch with top ranked Good Counsel, 4-0

Girls soccer advances to 12-2-1 with 4-0 quarterfinal win over St Mary's Ryken. Victory earns Cardinals a second chance to topple top ranked Good Counsel on Thursday in Olney Maryland. Falcons escaped Bishop Ireton 3-2 earlier.
